Website design & brand styling for Poder Quince, a civic awareness initiative by Jolt that works with quinceañeras in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and beyond to garner awareness and elevate voter registration in the state and nationwide.
Project Background
I worked on this project while at Dialog Group.
The team at Jolt Initiative was looking for guidance on their new initiative to raise voter registration in Texas and mobilize the youth vote by working with people having quinceañeras to register event guests.
The team already had a logo and brand identity developed but needed assistance with their website. After seeing my process & work with Cristina Tzintzun's website, they came to Dialog for assistance with this one.
My Role
My primary role was assisting with visual design and front-end development of the Poder Quince website. I empowered the team by setting them up with easy to update custom-built Squarespace & Photoshop templates so that they could continue to add to the website beyond my time with the project.
While Jolt Initiative had set up brand guidelines, I helped set up the look a style for their imagery that aligned with the image trends at the time amongst their target demographic. In turn the style I helped establish were adopted by the Poder Quince team and incorporated into their social media.
Results
Poder Quince has been featured in various news outlets, including Yahoo!, KXAN, NBC News, Univision, PopSugar, and Telemundo.
